Democratic and Republican Chairs Debate
Manchester, NH (April 5, 2010)—The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce will host both Democrat and Republican party chairs in a debate tonight, Monday, April 5th at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford. The annual Legislative Dinner will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. State Democratic Chair Ray Buckley and State Republican Chair Governor John Sununu will serve as guest speakers. Cocktail hour will be from 5-6 p.m. and dinner and the program will take place from 6-8 p.m. Scott Spradling, will moderate the event. Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter is also scheduled to attend the event.
The program is an opportunity for Chamber members and the public to meet local state legislators. This annual gathering brings together business leaders and legislators from across the Greater Manchester region in an effort to build relationships that will enhance communications between the public and private sector. Invited guests include State Representatives, State Senators, House and Senate leadership, Manchester Board of Mayor and Aldermen, and our region’s Executive Councilor. Discussion topics will include pending legislation, business issues, and predictions on upcoming political contests.
“Expect a great show and the sparks to fly given the big issues being debated in Concord this session,” says Robin Comstock, President and CEO of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. “All in all it will be a great night of networking, political theater, and fine dining,” said Comstock.
