2017 Chamber Golf Classic

2017 Chamber Golf Classic!

This past Friday, the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce held their annual Golf Tournament. Held at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, NH the tournament is the Chamber’s second largest fundraiser. This year, the tournament sold out in just two weeks.

Golfers arrived at about 8 a.m. and the shotgun start was at 8:30 a.m. This year, the tournament was themed “Cinco de Mayo,” the tent decor and food reflected Mexican fiesta theme. Contest holes were scattered throughout the course which added a twist to the regular golf game. Oracle + Dyn sponsored an air cannon shooter, which allowed participants the opportunity to shoot their golf ball out of a pressurized cannon onto the green. The Manchester Monarchs and Seacoast Business Machines sponsored the closest to the pin and longest drive contests. AutoFair offered a car to any participant that could make a hole in one on hole 13. Lastly, Merchants Auto sponsored a contest to beat the Stonebridge Golf Pro, Troy Cray.

The tournament lasted about five hours and concluded with a light reception with remarks from Mike Reed of Stebbins Commercial Properties, Inc., tournament chairman and longtime supporter of the Chamber. Mike generously donated his time and resources as chairman to make the tournament a success for the seventh year in a row.

Hoyle, Tanner & Associates came in first, Baker, Newman and Noyes came in second and The Manchester Monarchs and Seacoast Business Machines came in third.

It was a beautiful day on the course and a great time was had by all!

A special thank you to all tournament sponsors. The Chamber Classic would not be possible without your support!
