Carolyn Leary Departing Chamber in September

Dear Chamber Members –

Carolyn Leary, VP of Strategic Partnerships and Programs, recently shared with the team her plans to step down from her role at the Chamber at the end of the summer for an exciting new professional opportunity.

On behalf of the Chamber Board of Directors and the entire organization, I want to thank Carolyn for the incredible impact she has had on the Chamber during her four years with the organization. During her tenure, Chamber events and programs have achieved continual growth and engagement among members has increased to record levels. Most importantly, Carolyn has grown to be a dynamic leader of our organization who is trusted by our members and the community.

While we are sad to see Carolyn go, I, along with the Chamber team, are very excited for her new professional opportunity. Upon departing from the Chamber, Carolyn will be launching her own event planning business,  This new opportunity will allow Carolyn to blend her passion for event planning with her interest in entrepreneurship. Given her track record at the Chamber, I am sure Carolyn will find nothing but success with her new venture and we wish her all the best.

Carolyn’s shoes will not be easy to fill, but in the short term our fantastic Chamber team is more than up to the task. Long term, the Chamber will be posting and hiring a new position to add to our team and assume some of Carolyn’s previous responsibilities. Please keep an eye out for future updates for when this position has been finalized and posted as member referrals of candidates are always welcome.

In closing, please join me in again thanking Carolyn for all her amazing efforts in support of the Chamber and wishing her nothing but the best of luck going forward as she embarks on this exciting new chapter!

My thanks,

Mike Skelton
