Ribbon Cutting Services
A ribbon cutting is the ceremonial opening of a brand-new or newly-renovated/relocated business that has opened within the last 6 months. The Greater Manchester Chamber offers both premium and complimentary ribbon cutting services.
PREMIUM
$400 for non-members
$200 for members in good standing
*The premium ribbon cutting includes all of the complementary ribbon cutting benefits, as well as these additional features:
- 30 minute event consultation meeting with GMC staff
- GMC will provide scissors and ribbon, to be returned after the ceremony
- Event is posted on GMC community calendar and promoted in the Chamber’s weekly email newsletter for 1 week
- Chamber will provide host kit, which includes: recommended event schedule, important contacts, and event planning resources
- Chamber will capture and share photos from ribbon cutting on Facebook and Instagram within 10 business days after the event
- Note: the GMC does not offer professional photography services. You are encouraged to hire a professional photographer if you are looking for high resolution, professional photos for your event
- Chamber staff will provide remarks at event (*2 weeks notice required)
- Invitation to event extended to chamber committees, Community Connection Council and Mayor’s office
- GMC will assist with coordinating local media coverage (*no guarantees)
- GMC will provide Member Mailing List (*Upon request. This benefit is for chamber members only, not available to non-members).
Note: Premium ribbon cuttings require at least three weeks notice
COMPLIMENTARY
*Complimentary ribbon cutting services are available with the following features:
- GMC will provide scissors and ribbon, to be returned after ceremony
- Event is posted on the Community Calendar (Not available to non-members)
- Attendance by at least one Chamber staff member, if schedule allows, during normal business hours
- Invitation extended to Community Connection Council and Mayor’s office
- Invitation extended to GMC staff
