The Economic Development Department provides added value to members and our region by building an agenda and developing activities to address key economic development issues. Consistent with the Greater Manchester Board of Directors’ vision, as articulated in the 2012 Strategic Plan, this department strives to ensure and advance a regional perspective that serves our members in building a quality environment to conduct, sustain, grow and attract business. This regional approach is manifested at the local level of each community we serve, and given its ability to affect all communities in the region, there will be a dedicated focus and emphasis on Manchester.
The work of the Economic Development department is conducted by five committees comprised of volunteers from our membership. These committees include:
- Infrastructure Committee
- Green Committee
- Downtown Committee
- Access Greater Manchester
- Government Affairs Committee
To get involved in any of these committees you can contact Will Stewart at 603.792.4107. Committees work throughout the year to advance the Chamber’s strategic goals and initiatives.
