The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) has promoted Carolyn Leary to the new position of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Programs. Leary previously served as the Director of Member Experience and Programs for the GMCC.

“Carolyn is a dynamic, emerging leader in the Manchester community and we are thrilled she is taking on this new role at the GMCC,” said Mike Skelton, GMCC President and CEO. “In this role, Carolyn will continue to be the lead strategist for all GMCC events and programs and she will be taking on additional responsibilities in creating strategic partnerships with key organizations that can help the Chamber advance its mission of improving the region’s business climate.” Skelton added that Leary will also more regularly serve alongside him as a public face and spokesperson for the GMCC at programs, events and with key members and community leaders.

“I am very excited for this new role and the opportunity to make an impact on the many great things I know the GMCC will achieve in the years ahead,” said Leary. “I look forward to building partnerships and relationships to further strengthen our Chamber and continuing to work on the goals set forth in our Strategic Plan.”

Leary has nearly 10 years of event and fundraising experience. She previously planned corporate and government events in the Washington D.C. and Virginia areas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA, and lives in Manchester with her husband Mike.
