The Chamber recognizes that the success of all initiatives and goals requires support and engagement from a broad coalition of members, public officials, and community stakeholders. Members can support the GMCC strategic plan by getting engaged with one of many committees and task forces working on the various components of each strategic goal.

The Government Affairs Committee exists to monitor and track legislation and government-related issues on a federal and state level. The committee makes formal recommendations to the GMCC Board of Directors regarding positions the Chamber should adopt on various issues. Once recommendations are adopted, the committee assists the Chamber in promoting its position.
The Downtown Committee promotes and enhances downtown Manchester’s economic vitality, cultural and historic resources, and quality of life by determining timely priorities and strategies to carry out those priorities.
The Infrastructure Committee works to monitor and support efforts, policy proposals, and projects intended to enhance the transportation and infrastructure resources in the region.
The Education and Workforce Development Committee leads efforts to map, assess, and unify nonprofit efforts aimed at strengthening educational outcomes in Manchester.
The purpose of this committee is to expand the tax base and increase investment in infrastructure, education, and public safety by creating a more business-friendly environment.
