Support Educators and Students – Sponsor ELGM
The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with the Manchester School District to present the third annual Educator Leadership Manchester Summit on September 11, presented by Southern New Hampshire University.
The focus of this formal professional development day is “Preparing our Students for the NH Workforce” and will connect business leaders from the Manchester area with educators. In 2016 and 2017, this summit serviced educators from each of the four Manchester middle schools. Learn more about last year’s program by clicking here. This year, we will be welcoming educators from all 23 Manchester K-12 schools, reaching over 15,000 Manchester students. Our day will include a presentation from the grassroots “Manchester Proud” initiative, followed by panel discussions about leading and fast-growing industries, along conversations about the technical and “soft” skills needed for success. Teachers will strategize how to bring these themes to their curriculum plans and deepen the connection between our business community and the Manchester school district.
We are reaching out to the community to support this important program as a sponsor
This summit has evolved into one of the most important cornerstones of the Chamber’s workforce development programming. Education and workforce development is a key goal in the Chamber’s strategic plan and this summit is an critical component towards the efforts of the Chamber and our business community to make a direct, long lasting impact on the educational fabric of our city.
Sponsorships are available at various levels and can be viewed by clicking here. Your support of this program will directly benefit the educators in attendance and the students they will share their knowledge with after the summit.
